There is no single Craigslist-style site that covers Serbia — the secondhand market is split across a handful of platforms and hundreds of chats. Here is what people actually use, from the Serbian giant KupujemProdajem to Telegram flea markets, and where each option wins.

Where everyone ended up instead

There is no single "Serbian Avito" or Craigslist — the secondhand market here is split between several platforms and hundreds of chats. Local Serbs live on KupujemProdajem, expats gather in Telegram flea-market chats, real estate has its own sites, and cars have theirs. Here is a map of the options so you do not have to search blind.

KupujemProdajem — the Serbian giant

KupujemProdajem (known locally as KP) is Serbia's largest classifieds board: millions of listings, from furniture to car parts. The main catch for newcomers is that the site runs entirely in Serbian — the interface, the search, the messages to sellers. You will need to search using Serbian terms ("polovan nameštaj", not "used furniture") and negotiate through a translator. Telegram flea markets and Facebook groups

Every city has dozens of chats like "Belgrade Flea Market", "Novi Sad Flea Market", and English-speaking Facebook groups. They are fast and in your own language, but they come with structural problems: there is essentially no search inside a chat, listings sink within the hour, there is no seller history or reviews, and scammers operate freely. A chat is great for offloading a sofa in a hurry, and bad for finding something specific.
