What Is KupujemProdajem
KupujemProdajem (kupujemprodajem.com, known as KP) is Serbia's answer to classifieds sites like Craigslist or Gumtree, and by far the country's most visited one. The name literally means "I buy, I sell." You will find everything here: furniture, electronics, clothing, spare parts, services. If it is sold in Serbia, chances are it is listed on KP.
Registration
You sign up with an email address; for active use, the platform will ask you to verify a phone number — a Serbian number makes life much easier here and later when messaging sellers. The interface exists only in Serbian; the browser's auto-translate helps, but it breaks down on forms and in chat.
How to Search: A Mini-Dictionary
- polovno / polovan — used/second-hand (the key word: "polovan telefon", "polovan namestaj");
- namestaj — furniture, bela tehnika — major appliances;
- odeca — clothing, decije stvari — kids' items;
- besplatno / poklon — free, hitno — urgent, novo — new;
- ocuvano — "in good condition", kao novo — "like new".
Search using Serbian Latin script and always filter by city: delivery between cities exists, but inspecting the item before buying is the norm in Serbia.
Buying and Delivery
The usual scenario: message the seller in KP's internal chat, arrange a meeting, and pay cash on inspection. For sending items to another city, KP has integrated courier delivery with cash on delivery — a workable option if the seller agrees to it. Sellers reply in Serbian; short messages run through a translator are usually fine, but longer negotiations get painful.

- You will need to write your listing in Serbian — listings in other languages are largely ignored by both the audience and KP's algorithms;
- basic listings are free, but popular categories have limits and paid promotion options;
- buyers expect fast replies in Serbian — keep a translator handy.
