You can sell a laptop, a sofa, or a washing machine in Belgrade within an hour — the only question is how much money you are willing to lose for the speed. Here is every channel laid out: from buyback shops to classifieds.

Buyback shops (otkup): fast, but cheap

Around the city there are shops marked "otkup telefona / tehnike" — bring in a phone or a laptop and get cash on the spot. This is the fastest channel and the least profitable one: they usually offer 50–70% of the real market price, since the buyback shop builds in its own margin and risk. It makes sense when the money is needed today or the item is not worth the hassle of a listing.

Consignment stores: the middle path

Consignment stores take furniture and electronics for resale: payment arrives after the item sells, and the store keeps a percentage. The price is higher than at a buyback shop, but the wait can run for weeks, and large furniture still needs to be delivered there. Check the storage terms — some stores return unsold items after a month.

Classifieds: the most money

Selling directly to a buyer always brings in the most money.
