Why People Look for an Alternative

Polovni Automobili (polovniautomobili.com) has been the first stop for buying a car in Serbia for years — the biggest vehicle base in the country, and that has not changed. But in mid-2026 the site shipped a redesigned app and its store ratings collapsed: users report listings that will not open, ads taking up a third of the screen, saved searches and list position getting lost. The website itself works fine — the problem is the app. On top of that, listing prices have been climbing year after year. So: where else?

KupujemProdajem: The Second-Biggest Base

KP's vehicle category is realistically the second-largest source. It skews toward private sellers rather than dealers. Downsides: the filters are much poorer than Polovni's — no gearbox or trim search. Posting, though, is free: the fees KP has been rolling out since 2025 have not reached vehicles.

mobile.de and AutoScout24: Importing from the EU

With a budget upwards of ten thousand euros, many people import from Germany: a huge base, cleaner vehicle history, excellent filters. But count the full price — transport, customs, VAT, homologation: the gap between the German price and the final one can eat the entire saving. Facebook Groups and Dealer Lots

Facebook car groups are active and free, but there are no filters and no protection — at your own risk. Dealer lots (placevi) let you see and test the car right away, but prices are higher and the selection in any one place is small.
