Serbian Language Lessons and Adaptation to Serbia

My name is Timur. I've been living in Serbia for 11 years and have gone through the entire school system here from first grade to graduation (I finished high school as a programmer). Russian and Serbian are native languages for me, so I not only know the language but also understand how the local system works from the inside. I work with children aged 7 to 18. Sometimes I take on students or older kids if the tasks are reasonable and we can come to an agreement. I've been teaching since 2024. How I can be helpful: 1. Serbian language. I use an immersive approach. This means we immerse ourselves in the environment and learn to understand the language intuitively, rather than just drilling grammar from textbooks. I help students start speaking and overcome the fear of communicating with locals. 2. School adaptation. I help children integrate into the group without stress. I explain to parents the local nuances and how grades and relationships with teachers are actually structured here. 3. Lessons and test preparation. I explain school subjects in a way that makes sense, rather than just mechanical memorization. I prepare students for tests and help improve their grades. In my time, I won the DMS Olympiad in mathematics, and my scientific work for the Regional Talent Center received an award at the state level. I understand well what Serbian teachers expect from students and how to prepare for it. In classes, I am calm, patient, and friendly. I don't pressure anyone or scold for mistakes. My goal is to find an approach to each student, understand how they learn best, and make it comfortable for them to study. A lesson lasts 60 minutes and costs 1000 dinars. I can teach offline in Kikinda and Zrenjanin (I travel to Zrenjanin with a small surcharge for travel). We also work comfortably online from anywhere in Serbia. I offer the first trial lesson completely free. We just need to get acquainted, I'll assess the child's level, and we'll decide if we are a good fit for each other.
